Pyrobel

Features

Pyrobel / Pyrobelite comprises two or more sheets of glass and one or more fire-resistant interlayers. The interlayers and glass are completely transparent. When the glass reaches a temperature of 100oC the interlayers activate, forming a fireproof and opaque glass unit.

Pyrobel and Pyrobelite have different fire-resistance ratings:

Pyrobelite complies with EW class (Integrity and limited radiation) from EW 30 to EW 60 (30 to 60 minutes).

Pyrobel complies with EI class (Integrity and Insulation) from EI 30 to EI 120 (30 minutes to 120 minutes).
